Georgia State Athletics Announces Volleyball Facility Updates

State-of-the-Art Upgrades to Enhance Student-Athlete Experience

Stuckey Field and Romeiser Drive to Receive Major Renovations

Atlanta, GA - Georgia State University Athletics is excited to announce significant upgrades to its volleyball facilities, Stuckey Field and Romeiser Drive.

The renovations will include the construction of a new practice facility at Stuckey Field, a dedicated hitting and blocking facility at Romeiser Drive, and enhancements to the existing facilities at both locations. These upgrades will provide Georgia State volleyball student-athletes with state-of-the-art training and development resources, enhancing their performance and competitiveness.

The new practice facility at Stuckey Field will feature two full-size courts, a dedicated film room, and a weight room, providing a comprehensive training environment. The hitting and blocking facility at Romeiser Drive will include specialized equipment designed to improve player technique and power. Additionally, both facilities will receive upgrades to lighting, sound systems, and air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable and optimal training experience.

Georgia State Athletics is committed to providing its student-athletes with the best possible resources to succeed on and off the court. These facility upgrades demonstrate the university's unwavering support for volleyball excellence. Construction on the new practice facility and hitting and blocking facility is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2023, with completion expected in the fall of 2024. The renovations to the existing facilities will be completed in phases over the next two years.
